INTRODUCTION
Based on original sources, this ever-expanding database lays out
the inter-connections of the Lausanne Consultation for World Evangelization
[LCWE] with the Global
Prayer & Missions Movement -- mobilized prayer initiatives in the local
churches. The LCWE’s goal is the evangelization*
of the world during the early years of the new millennium.
*Evangelization is a term coined by Harold Ockenga of Fuller Theological
Seminary. As we shall discover, evangelization
carries a very different meaning from the biblical command of “[doing] the work of an evangelist” (II
Tim. 4:5) -- the sharing of the Gospel and bringing souls into the Church until
the fullness of the Gentiles is complete (Romans
Long before
the first Lausanne Consultation convened in 1974 under the leadership of Billy Graham, this global
mission master-plan was conceived and mapped out. Seemingly, the movement began
in the 1930s in the Forest Home Christian Conference Center of Henrietta Mears
and was further developed at Fuller Theological Seminary. However, as will be
shown in the forthcoming report, the global missions/prayer movement dates back
to the formation of the Evangelical Alliance in 1846 in the Grand Lodge of
England headquarters at Freemason Hall,
The
Missions Movement and the Prayer Movement are intertwined; prayer is organized
to support the evangelization
missionaries. Truly there are believers who have committed their lives to
serving the Lord on the mission field, but if they are in a partnership with
I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy
testimonies…
Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be
right; and I hate every false way.
~ Psalm 119:125 & 128
Our purpose is to present the facts about the Global Prayer &
Missions Movement:
• What is
the history?
• How is it
organized?
• Who are
the leaders?
• How is it
being implemented in the local churches?
Billy Graham's statement on a universal
religion reveals the false gospel of the
evangelization movement:
“…that’s what
God is doing today, He’s calling people out of the world for His name, whether
they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world,
or the non-believing world, they are members of the Body of Christ because
they’ve been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus, but they
know in their hearts that they need something that they don't have, and they
turn to the only light that they have, and I think that they are saved, and
that they’re going to be with us in heaven.
“…and the Roman Catholic Church has
changed. They open their arms to welcome us and we have the support of the
Catholic Church almost everywhere we go. And I think that we must come to the
place where we keep our eyes on Jesus Christ, not on what denomination or what
church or what group we belong to.” -
Leaders of the ecumenical Lausanne/AD 2000 & Beyond Movement
are taking well-meaning, but undiscerning Christians on a route that parallels
but is separate from the narrow path of Scripture. We pray that this database
will serve as a wake up call for those participants in the Global Prayer &
Missions Movement who are genuinely seeking to do the will of the Lord.
About the Leaders of the
• They claim that God birthed this movement.
•
As Apostles and Prophets
of this movement, they claim they are called to identify the emerging leaders
in each nation.
• Their work centers around creating a mapping system / databank of
the world’s populations ostensibly for prayer purposes.
• They have introduced New Age/pagan terminology/concepts: vision
casting, prayerwalking, prayer journeys/ journeyers, spiritual mapping,
synchronized prayers in symbolic territorial locations, identifying/exorcising
territorial spirits, redeeming the land, engaging in battle with the Queen of
Heaven, city transformation, etc.
• Their strategies and methodologies were developed in the 1930s at
Fuller Theological Seminary.
• They are ecumenical -- abandoning sound doctrine for religious
unity, even partnering with those who reject the inerrancy of Scripture.
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord
Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting
covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you
that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ;
to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. ~ Hebrews 13:20-21

Theological Seminary, New York… Pusey and Van Dusen were not alone, and
they were able to convince the Rockefeller Brothers Fund to support a new initiative
that would enable highly qualified college graduates considering but undecided
on a ministerial career to enroll in an exploratory year of theological
studies. In 1954 an eminent board of directors was established under Pusey's
leadership in
close cooperation with the American Association of Theological Schools to
